Velprio

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 October 2026

The short version

Velprio’s eight tools run entirely inside your web browser. Your files are never uploaded to us. We have no way to see, store or recover a document you process, because it never leaves your device — and there is no server on our side that could receive one.

We require no account. We show no advertising. We run no analytics. The rest of this page sets out the few things that do happen when you visit the site.

Your files

All eight tools — Merge PDF, Split PDF, Extract Pages, Organize PDF, Watermark PDF, Flatten PDF, PDF to Image and Image to PDF — process your document using code that runs in your own browser, on your own device.

When you choose a file it is read into your browser’s working memory and nothing is transmitted. We do not receive a copy. We do not log its contents, its name, its size or its page count. When you remove the file or close the tab, your browser releases that memory and nothing remains — on our side there was never anything to remove.

Velprio is published as a set of static pages with no application server behind them, so this is a property of how the site is built rather than a policy we have chosen to adopt. You can confirm it yourself in about thirty seconds: load any tool, disconnect from the internet, and it keeps working. Our Security page explains the mechanism in full.

If we ever add a feature that genuinely requires a server — some kinds of conversion need more computing power than a browser has — it will be clearly identified as such before you use it, and this policy will be updated first.

Information we collect

No accounts. The tools need no sign-up, no email address and no password. We hold no user records.

No analytics. We do not currently run any analytics, tag manager or visitor-measurement script. If that changes we will name the service here and say exactly what it records, before it is switched on.

Basic usage measurement. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits to each page, so we know which tools are worth improving. It is cookieless, does not fingerprint your device, and does not follow you across other websites. It records the page, not the person, and never anything about a file you opened.

Server logs. Our web host, like any web host, automatically records basic technical information when your browser requests a page: your IP address, the browser and operating system you are using, and the time of the request. This is used for security and reliability and nothing else. These logs never contain the contents of a file, because file contents are never sent.

Cookies and browser storage

Velprio sets no tracking cookies and no advertising cookies.

The site does store a small number of preferences in your own browser so it behaves the way you left it — for example, whether the page preview should fit a whole page to the window or fill its width. These are held on your device only. They are never transmitted to us, contain nothing about you, and can be cleared at any time through your browser’s settings.

Your rights, including under GDPR

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with comparable protections, you have the right to access, correct, delete or export personal data held about you, and to object to certain kinds of processing.

In practice there is usually nothing for us to act on, because the tools never send us your files or any personal data. The only information connected to you is the technical detail in the server logs described above, which we keep for security and cannot ordinarily link to an individual.

For anything you do send us directly — an email to the address below, or a message through our contact page — you can exercise these rights by writing to [email protected]. We will respond within one month.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled a request, you have the right to complain to the data protection authority in your country.

Children’s privacy

Velprio is a general-purpose document tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children — the tools collect none by design, and there is no account to create.

Changes to this policy

We will update this policy as Velprio changes. Anything that materially affects how your information is handled — introducing advertising or analytics, or adding a feature that requires a server — will be reflected here, with the date at the top of this page updated, before the change takes effect.
